Advocacy |
The GLG Association's secondary goal is to improve the ability of parents to interact productively with
representatives, staff, and teachers within schools and districts attended by their children. EquityGLG seeks to insure full and equitable participation in our region’s educational activities at all levels, therefore helping to eliminate the equity gap that exists on several levels in the African-American student experience.
|
GLG aims to communicate and promote African-American educational issues at the federal, state, and local levels of Government and gain cooperation and commitment from public and private representatives to solicit participation and support for programs implemented in the Inland Empire region of Southern California.
ServiceGLG provides direct services to students and families to increase the number of scholars prepared to enter scientific and math related college majors and related career occupations.
GLG hosts programs and events that highlight academic excellence in general, and promote involvement in science related training, culture, and education programs. |
The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education. - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
